Riddler John Astin. Astin played the character for the episodes Batmans Anniversary and A Riddling Controversy before Gorshin was persuaded to return to the series for the third season episode Ring Around the Riddler. He also played the Riddler in the second season of Batman Frank Gorshin returned for the third and final season.
He played the Riddler in ten episodes of the series as well as the theatrical movie although John Astin made two appearances in 1967 in the role on an occasion when Gorshin was unavailable. For my birthday today I am looking at Riddler the first villain for the show best moments. No such compound can exist due to the chemical structures of sodium and chlorine.
